    • Found in: Harmal ("Peganum harmala") (The seeds contain about 2-6% alkaloids, most of which is harmaline.)
  • Harmine
    • Found in: "Harmine is found in a wide variety of different organisms, most of which are plants. Shulgin (1997)[7] lists about thirty different species known to contain harmine, including seven species of butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. The harmine-containing plants listed include tobacco, two species of passion flower/passion fruit, and numerous others. In addition to B. caapi, at least three members of the Malpighiaceae contain harmine, including two more Banisteriopsis species and the plant Callaeum antifebrile. The Zygophyllaceae family, which harmal belongs to, contains at least two other harmine-bearing plants: Peganum nigellastrum and Zygophyllum fabago."

Related to these 'priesthood' cultures is also the continuous prosecution of all natural/herbal cultures and its practitioners. From numerous genocides of indigenous cultures around the world, to the attacks on natural healthcare in Europe and the US. These conscious and wise people were stigmatized, tortured and killed for being: shamans, druids, gnostics, 'mystics', 'witches', or 'quacks' (See also: alchemy). The neurotic priesthood knew there should be none of these conscious people in societies, if they were to subversively take control of the people and their environment.

These days the Pharmacratic Inquisitions are still going strong to benefit the global toxic-medicine based pharmaceutical industry; using weak medical schooling, medical license systems, patent law, propaganda campaigns and important natural substance prohibitions (See also: Healthcare).

A highly controversial topic is the research which is showing that entheogen stimulated spiritual experiences seem to lie at the center of the main religions too. Though of course hidden, sometimes even in plain sight, and only allowed for a select group of initiates (See also: Entheogens). Most Christian people refuse to research and debate this topic, because it shows how much the true history behind early Christianity-like gnostic-shamanic cultures has been suppressed and perverted into different forms of mythology, idolatry and dogma. It shows how much all main religions have strayed from the path of nature, empirical spirituality, honesty and freedom. Especially entheogen-aware cultures are treated as a huge threat to the (in many places) dominating 'Western' belief systems, political structures and egoistic/materialistic/mechanical thinking.   • "Of course, the Bible does not teach against the use of herbs. In the book of Genesis, God declares that he has given humans "every herb bearing seed," and asserts that all of his creation is good. In the New Testament, Jesus never specifically addresses the use of marijuana, but his view on prohibition and purity seem to be summed up in Matthew 15:11: "It's not what goes into a man's mouth which defiles him," said Jesus, "but rather that which comes out of it." The apostle Paul also reinforces this idea in his writings. "Everything created by God is good," wrote Paul, "and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving." (1 Timothy, 4:4) In another book, Paul writes "I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself; but it is unclean for any one who thinks it unclean...
