History

ASM Technologies Limited (formerly Advanced Synergic Microsystems Limited) was incorporated as a public limited company on 10th August, 1992 with the main objective of developing software for export markets and for providing computer aided design and computer aided manufacturing workstation based solutions to domestic market. The company took over the business of M/s Synergic Systems, a partnership firm, established in 1988 to address the manufacturing industry for their CAD/CAM requirements.

The company aiming to expand and establish its presence globally went public in 1994, acquiring funds from investors to cater to its growth and diversifications. The shares of the company are traded in the Bangalore and IndoNext segment of Bombay Stock Exchanges respectively.

After a modest beginning, ASM fuelled its growth by initiating its export operations in the year 1995 focusing on export of computer software and services to countries spread across the globe. With an aim to be a part of the family of software companies and to focus the operations, the company established a full fledged Software Export Group under the Software Technology Park Scheme in Bangalore.

In order to promote business across the globe and to be in a position to serve the clients in a better manner the company as a first step to this mission established in 1997 its wholly owned subsidiary , Advanced Synergic Pte Ltd in Singapore. With US markets in the prime lead the company established its US subsidiary, Pinnacle Talent Inc. in 1999 also followed by a branch office in the same year. In order to penetrate into the European Markets as well the company went about establishing its branch office in the UK in 2002. Initiatives are also on to set up ODC in China/Malaysia.
