[edit] Etana Insurance in association with Hollard

Hi, I'm having trouble uploading my company's logo on wikicompany. Can you please let me know how to go about adding an image?

I'm travelling in a region with few Internet access points, so my responses are slow, sorry about that. You should create a PNG formatted image of your company logo (not too large in size also, since now shrinking is used) then click on the red-link on the company profile page, and follow the instructions. If you still have problems let me know. I know the image uploading process should be made easier for users. Kind regards - Walden 06:38, 30 August 2008 (CDT)

Hi again. Thanks for the reply. Now there is another question. Some of the images shown are not related. My company is ISFnet with the domain www.isfnet.com but there is another organization (scientific) which is totally unrelated at www.isfnet.org. Some of the images shown on my company's article are coming from the unrelated website. I understand the software is automated but is there anyway I can omit those unrelated images? Thanks! I moved the profile to ISFnet, Inc., so that now the full company name is used. See if that helps. Kind regards. - Walden

Hi. My company's page - ISFnet seems to have 3 blogs. How do I get the usual News, blog, Video, Job thing? Or at least just 1 blog article. Thanks. Benk.iu 00:51, 11 July 2008 (CDT)

All those sections are created by an automated software process, if some sections are currently missing, its because some source (google-news, google-video, youtube, indeed.com), don't have the info in their search feeds (at this point in time). Thanks for the profile, kind regards - Walden 05:58, 11 July 2008 (CDT)

When I type our company name by typing in lower case letters I can't find us, but when I search for us using caps, our company comes up. How can we show up when users type in lower case letters? Thanks.

Now it works. I created a lower-case page with a redirect to the cased-name. MediaWiki is a case-sensitive system, but the search system has some bugs I'd say. - Walden 14:03, 3 July 2008 (CDT)

I created a page for TinselVision.com which is the name of our website and it was redirected to TinselCinema which is the name of the umbrella company that we operate under. TinselCinema is not known to the public and the search would be for TinselVision or TinselVision.com. How do I get the page to be titled and shown under TinselVision or TinselVision.com?

Is TinselVision a company? Or is it a brand of Tinsel Cinema? If its the latter then the situation is correct now. Wikicompany deals with company profiles which can each can contain info on their brands, products, etc. I also created a redirect from TinselVision to Tinsel Cinema, so searches for that name will also work. - Walden 16:16, 10 July 2008 (CDT)

i used the publish form and you deleted it again?

You used the form and then deleted the template structure. Leave that structure in place. - Walden 17:15, 19 July 2008 (CDT)

I just added the B2X company profile but I don't think I did it right. I wasn't sure what to type in for the mandatory sectors and region boxes. I was wondering if the page could just ne taken off and I could do it again. Thanks for any help you can provide. Ahf1286 13:51, 12 August 2008 (CDT)

Hi Ahf1286, the B2X Corporation profile looks good, no need to start over IMO - I've now updated it with some sector data and a logo image. Edit if you want other things. - Walden 14:04, 12 August 2008 (CDT)
Ok, thank you very much. I was just confused with some of the pictures that came up and I thought it was because I did something wrong with the initial set-up. I use Wikipedia, but this is the first time I used Wikicompany so thank you! Ahf1286 14:17, 12 August 2008 (CDT)
